You have around 20 dentist not affiliated with the social security in France, so do not except to find contract including them :-).
But if you look for contract reimbursing correctly ( and in some case better ) if you want to go and see a dentist outside of the complementaire protocol you will find them.
If a sufficient number of dentist were to leave the convention the private insurance would adapt and offer contract that cover somewhat the customer who choose to see them.
I suppose that it is the same in the U.K you also can choose different type of insurance plan depending of under what modality you will choose to be treated in the future (NSH / Private).
